Moth, but legs like a leaf hopper

Moth, but legs like a leaf hopper
Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County, California, USA
August 2, 2007
This was a pretty small moth. What made it interesting was the way it would duck its head down towards the wall if it saw me approach. When I moved away, the head would come back up, and it would be completely away from the wall as in the photo in this frame. It was pretty funny to watch it repeat this behavior.

So far, the closest thing I see is in Genus Microcrambus, Genus Chrysoteuchia, or Genus Fissicrambus
