Anyone recognize this longhorn?

Yes, I do!
This is Acanthoderes quadrigibba, formerly in genus Aeogomorphus (how dare they!:-). This insect is not commonly seen, and plays dead when it is alerted to observation. Neat.

I saw a lot of neat stuff that day. I was helping a fellow grad student hunt for caterpillars, and of course we also found tons of other cool bugs.
