Here is a picture of a Golden Silk Spider! We ran into it's web on our 4wheeler trail.

Hi Tiffany. Welcome to BugGuide! You can actually post directly to the level at which you feel confident of the ID. The search function is a little idiosyncratic, but will usually get you to the right place eventually (you can search on species or genus, but both together will not throw up a guide page). Each species or taxonomic level has an info page. If there's something very like it, it will usually be listed under See Also. You can post unidentified images to ID Request.
