Seaweed Fly -
Thoracochaeta zosterae
Bailey Island, Cumberland County, Maine, USA
August 27, 2008
Size: 2.6 mm long
This fly is larger than the other two I've submitted. Is it different sex or different species.

Thoracochaeta zosterae (ME)
Wow, what a nice image! I can't tell the sex unless I see the tip of the abdomen. Yes, the other ones probably are Th. brachystoma, a smaller species with different arrangement of bristles on mid and hind tibia.
