congratz!
i have been searching for one FOREVER it seems like becuase i just this year learned they were in PA where i live. my grad project for school that i am doing is a guide to PA bees wasps and hornets where i photograph all that i can find. this is one of the species that i was really hoping to photograph, but i have never even seen one let alone photographed one!
do you know if this was a mint plant that this wasp was feeding on?

I wanted to find one since I found a Queen (it's in the guide here)
This one was feeding on Bur Cucumber (Sicyos angulatus) flowers. I also saw one feeding on Boston (or English) Ivy flowers (but it was too fast for me)
BTW-if you want/need to use my photos at all cos they are taken in PA-it's okay with me. ^__^ I know they aren't great but if they can help you out...ya know. My daughter just finished her class project...such fun that was....or not.
