Tried to ID but again, can't quite nail it down. Thanks for any help.

NYMPH!
Sorry, have reached intolerance for nymphs of Scudderia. Only adult males can be identified, and rarely from images alone. Nice pic, but your expectations for ID are way too high.

Sorry Eric.
I had noticed that there are some adults, such as the wingless Katydid, that have very small wings. I am no entomologist by any stretch so I was not sure whether an adult or nymph. I know that these can be tough and did get a butt shot if needed. But I'll settle for Scudderia nymph and be happy. So you did actually help me because I wouldn't have know it was a Scudderia nymph on my own.

I'm sorry.
I had a major disappointment yesterday that I haven't gotten over yet. I would really like to get paid to do what I am voluntarily doing now (making insect IDs). I have a very unfulfilling 'regular' job right now....Plus, the redundancy factor here, having to initiate every new contributor into the idea that many insects cannot be identified without actually dissecting genitalia, grates on you after awhile. So, nothing personal....your images are great and I hope you'll keep contributing.

Not a problem, Eric.
Your response that is. I can definitely understand the lousy day job thing and that is a problem. I don't get paid to photograph even though I'd love to do that, so I can certainly understand your frustration.
And I definitely appreciate all the help the folks here offer so I'll try to post an adult next time around. :-) And thanks very much for the photo compliment!
