A second greenish black wasp - Auplopus

A second greenish black wasp - Auplopus
Elkton, Douglas County, Oregon, USA
August 27, 2008
Size: approx. 5/8 inch
About five minutes after the wasp in my previous post flew off, this new one arrived. This wasp had a smoother bend in the antenna (the last one had a sort of kink on each, a short ways from the tips), and I noticed this one has a slightly furry collar and thorax. Plus, on this one, you can see the wings.

Can I assume they're the same type of wasp?

wasp
it is indeed in the same genus as the other, Auplopus.
