Milkweed Tussock Moth Caterpillar? - Euchaetes egle

Size: Approx. 1 1/4"
I looked through the guide & this looks like a milkweed tussock moth caterpillar. Is it? I watched it for two days while he/she was eating milkweed. It looked to me as if it was poking out its face while he/she was moving around. Could that be its face on the bottom left, with two white eyes?
