Bee - Bombus flavifrons

Bee - Bombus flavifrons
Sitka County, Alaska, USA
July 22, 2008
I haven't had much luck getting bees identified so far. Perhaps part of that is due to inadequate photos, so if anyone could suggest alternate views to try for, I would be interested in any help.

I'm not sure about the size of this bee, but I think it was about 1cm or a bit over.

Bombus ternarius
Red Tailed / Tri-Colored Bumblebee. They are somewhat common to find, but a treat to find with such vibrant red bands.
