Painted Grasshopper - Dactylotum bicolor

Painted Grasshopper - Dactylotum bicolor
Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA

From the info I've read, I'm guessing it's an adult, but don't know the gender... maybe a male?

pretty good guessing
It is an adult (easy to tell by looking at the wings), and it is a male (not so easy, because the male parts aren't showing, but the proportions are clearly male).
