Stonemyia rasa?

I've never seen this species
It fits the description and season is correct. The female's do not suck blood but are reported on flowers. So everthing fits. Interested in knowing how you came to this ID.
OK, just saw photo #22002 and it looks like S. rasa and this specimen looks like #22002; Q.E.D.
