Larinia directa in Florida - Larinia directa
Niceville, Florida, Okaloosa County, Florida, USA
August 28, 2008
These spiders appear to be remarkably photophobic and begin dismantling their webs very quickly after my flashlight hits them. This makes taking a good picture of their webs a challenge. A liquid bolus can be seen in some of the photos. I presume that this is the web as it is being rolled up? The liquid a function of the condensation?
