Size: 4 mm head to wing tips
This looks like a moth but I've never seen wings quite so ragged no the tips. Is it a moth? It came to a porch light after dark.

Reminds us of the little caddisflies
Maybe Hydroptilidae, in the guide here, but you'll have to wait for one of the experts for a firm ID.
