White Beetle-Like - Epicauta albida

Size: About 1"
Just as I was about to drive away from the pond area this Beetle-like bug flew onto the hood of my car. I shot these images through the windshield, while it paced back and forth.
This was on the grounds where I work in a very rural area about 16 miles east of Benson.
