Bug Latin 101 – Passive Voice - Argiope aurantia

Bug Latin 101 – Passive Voice - Argiope aurantia
Daphne (Bayfront Park), Baldwin County, Alabama, USA
May 14, 2008
Example: The dragonfly was eaten by the spider.
Libellula needhami eram edo per Argiope aurantia.

But the Romans really avoided the passive voice -
they loved those active verbs right at the end of the sentence - wham!

Literary License
