Midge?

Midge?
Moccasin Lake, Winston, Douglas County, Georgia, USA
September 1, 2008
Size: about 3 - 4 mm
Very tiny midge(???), attracted to light. Anyone have any idea as to ID on this almost transparent fellow?

Moved
Moved from Midges.

Chaoboridae
I think this is Chaoboridae rather than Chironomidae based on general appearance and particularly the antenna hairs. Male Chironomidae have a cloud of hair. Male Chaoboridae have distinct rings of hair.
