scorpion that i want to keep - Centruroides vittatus

i caught this scorpion in my friends back yard and i want to keep it but my mom wants to know if it is safe to keep in the house we are both in good health so we need to know how dangerous it is

Not dangerous.
Venomous, yes; dangerous no, if you are a healthy individual with no allergies to insect or arachnid venoms. No reason to handle the animal anyway, of course. Do provide shelter it can hide under.
