Red-necked click beetle - Ampedus collaris

Red-necked click beetle - Ampedus collaris
Briar Bush Nature Center, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, USA
June 8, 2005
Size: 5-7 mm.
I wasn't going to submit this one because it is so out of focus, but it is another mimic of the Lycid complex that Patrick is working on. The head is black, even if you can't see it here.
I hope that somebody gets a better picture soon.

Ampedus collaris
Excellent match for Ampedus collaris from Jeanette, PA (Wagner/Scott Collection).

Thanks
After two and a half years, I never imagined that anybody would help me with this one.
