Based on
morphology, pattern, and location, about the only choice is Trimerotropis pallidipennis; however, it would help if the wing and color of the hind tibia showed (both should be yellow in this species), since there's always an outside chance I'm wrong :)

Trimerotropis sp. most likely.
Noting the color of the hindwings (visible in flight), and the color of the hind tibiae (I know, usually concealed under the hind femora at rest) helps immensely in narrowing the list of suspects. There is much individual variation in the "camouflage" patterns, even within a single species.

thank you
Nothing fancy - an inexpensive Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 - not even an SLR. But is has the advantage of being very portable and of being able to do everything with a flip-out LCD. I never use the eyepiece viewfinder.
