Size: L = 7 mm
Found on Erigeron colo-mexicanus in my backyard. All black w/2 white marks on occiput, 2 marks on meta-notum, 1 sidespot on scutellum; slender abd w/abd band on T2, 3 abd bands top-cut on T3T4T5; black legs w/white-black basitarsus. There are four Sapyga species in Colorado. Check here on page 152 for picture on Sapyga.

Sapygidae.
I'm pretty certain this is actually a type of sapygid wasp. They are parasitic on megachilid bees. I think this is a new family for Bugguide!
