Long-horned Beetle, Aneflus calvatus - Aneflus calvatus - Female
Amado, St Cruz County, Arizona, USA
September 3, 2008
Size: around 30mm

Aneflus
No idea which species, though.

Just looking at type photos
I think it could be A. calvatus. All other species seem to be more pubescent. I have only the one specimen, Eric got two more, so I'm going to try local help like the UoA collection and Fred Skillman to find out what it is. Really need to get a key. Or can I take photos of any detail?

Fred's your best bet
Say Hi for me. Encourage him to participate; he certainly could help out with the Arizona fauna.

He's just
always traveling! He can make you really envious....

Fred did ID
it as A. calvatus
