syrphid - Toxomerus geminatus - Male
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Southern Ontario, Ontario, Canada
September 7, 2008
pretty sure it's a male (eyes touching = male, or am I backwards?)

Moved
Moved from Toxomerus.

Toxomerus occidentalis
A male indeed.

In the east, it's Toxomerus geminatus
T. occidentalis is the nearly identical western version.
