Cocoon - Thyridopteryx ephemeraeformis

I have found these cocoons (approx. 2" in length) hanging mostly on my evergreen bushes. All I know is that there is a large caterpillar on the inside. I think it has a black head and stripes across it's body.

Bagworms.
Evergreen bagworm moth larvae and pupae.
