Bartlesville, Washington County, Oklahoma, USA
September 8, 2008
Found at UV light near pond in wooded area of a flood plain

Moved to Elasmia cave
Moved from Elasmia packardii.

This specimen along with the specimens shown in BugGuide photos 354758 and 322102 were identified at BOLD by Don Lafontaine as Elasmia cave. He has confirmed that the only mandela at BOLD from north of Mexico is Kons & Borth's Sample ID: 3643-COI-08 from Cameron County, TX. I'm still not clear on this but the known northern limit of mandela is southern TX which contradicts Metzler & Knudson (2011).

DNA results
Now supported as Hippia packardii by DNA barcoding match, LPOKA462-09
This specimen is shown here: BOLD:AAA6562
