Robber Fly - Heteropogon macerinus

Robber Fly - Heteropogon macerinus
Adams County, Pennsylvania, USA
September 8, 2008
Size: 1/2 inch
A very small Robber Fly as the dew drops give some perception of size. I have added an over exposed photo to better define details and colors, especially the legs and abdomen. Help with ID would be greatly appreciated.

Great!
Thanks very much, Herschel. I'll move it.

Looks like another
Northeastern Heteropogon macerinus.
