Davis' female antennal markings - Oecanthus exclamationis - Female

Size: 18mm
Here is a view of the antennal markings (thru plastic). I'm curious about those black spots on the 'elbows' of the front legs. They may be specks of dirt, but if they are, they are certainly eerily symmetrically positioned.
