Walking Stick? - Zelus luridus

Walking Stick? - Zelus luridus
Central County, Vermont, USA
Size: about 1/4 inch
I think it came from the bananas, so not a VT native... its tiny but the only bugs that comes close to its leg position and movements are the Walking Sticks. How small do they start?

Looks more like an assassin bug
in the genus Zelus

It is.
Probably Zelus luridus. You can even see the "sundew hairs" on the front legs, sticky hairs that help hold struggling prey.

Could it be Western Conifer Seed Bug?
We have many of those around the house, and the adults look a lot like assassin bugs, so could the young look alike too?

I see the resemblance.
So hard to know sometimes what stage one is seeing.
