I thought IDing this grasshopper would be easy with the unique colors and patterns. Not so. Can't seem to find one like it in the guide. Appreciate any help putting a name on it.

Clouded grasshopper.
This is the "clouded grasshopper," Encoptolophus sordidus. Not uncommon in late summer and fall.
