I'm inclined to agree with Metepeira, but look forward to an expert diagnosis at some point. Placing at family level for now.

Good dorsal exposure
The web should consist of a nice orbweb on one side combined with a complicated mass of confusing threads where the spider has her home. This is the Labyrinth, Metepeira labyrinthea, in the guide here. Nice find!
