Size: about 12-12.5 mm
This face thorax view is not of the same bee, but I'm fairly sure it is of the same species. It was taken at the same time on the same mesquite and has many features in common. However, the thorax differs in being strongly margined with yellow and has two slashes. Do I have a dimorphic pair?
