This specimen lacks a black costal spot on the subterminal line, so I think it is Noctua comes (Noctuidae: Noctuinae: Noctuini).

This looks to be one of the yellow underwings (Noctua sp.). The range section of the Noctua sp. page here on BG says "N. pronuba occurs coast to coast in Canada and US
N. comes currently occurs (at least in Canada) only in British Columbia"

I am getting lots of them, 2 to 4 daily. This one looks different though as the others are larger, longer and patterned somewhat differently.
