Plant Bug - Stenotus binotatus

Plant Bug - Stenotus binotatus
Hampshire County, Massachusetts, USA
June 29, 2005
Size: ~7 mm
There are quite a few of these feeding on grass seed in our back yard. It may be a species of Stenotus especially when you compare it to the pinned specimen at Cedar Creek's site.

S. binotatus
I moved this from the Miridae section to the new species page. Judging from other web photos linked to in the Guide, I think the ID is correct (there's only one species of Stenotus in North America).

Thanks Robin,
As always:)
