Moved from Robber Flies.

Hi Lynn`
Wonder to where it was moved? Knowing that, some of us could learn more about this creature. I have no idea other than it is some kind of fly - but which kind of fly?

Robber fly
Hi Bob,

I just found your question.

The Robber fly was moved to :
Diptera (Flies)
No Taxon ("Orthorrhapha" (Brachycera excluding Aschiza and Schizophora))
Superfamily Asiloidea
Family Asilidae (Robber Flies)
Subfamily Asilinae
Genus Machimus.

My apology for the delayed answer.

Thanks Lynn
and Happy New Year!
