very pretty stink bug or shield bug. - Euthyrhynchus floridanus

Size: about .5"
Today I was walking along the edge of the college woods here at Maryville College and came across this beautiful bug. I think it is some type of stink bug or shield bug. I would love to id to species if possible. any help would be appreciated.
