This red-eyed bee and several others were on Desert Milkweed (Asclepias erosa) growing along the roadside. It is very similar to Centris (Paracentris) ceasalpiniae (Photo # 205899) from Oklahoma that also has red eyes and clypeus. However, this bee has red femora. Is this just a regional difference?
