Stumpy Moth

Stumpy Moth
Alexandria, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
September 13, 2008
Size: < 2mm (body)
In addition to "What is it", I have several other questions about this moth. Why is his body so short while his wings and legs are so long? Doesn't that make him horribly off-balance for flying? And where is his third pair of legs? What a strange little creature!

Moved
Moved from Moths.

Maybe something near
Caloptilia
