I have never seen this sort of personality and shape, in Adelids or Caddisflies.

It was quite larger than others around, also note the midge.

Sorry, Borealfalcon, but I would suggest bumping this one back to family. My comment about genus was speculation; I can't see a way to rule out other genera.

Another of the long-horned caddisflies, possibly Ceraclea.
