Spider - Lynx?

Spider - Lynx?
West of Benson, Bordering Cochise County, Arizona, USA
September 21, 2008
Size: About 1 1/2 cm
I was out in the yard looking for bugs on the Desert Brooms when I spotted this beauty below in the grasses.
I think it is a Lynx genus, but it was a tricky shot and I have been unable to make a positive ID.
We live in a rural desert area, elevation 4,600', about six miles west of Benson.
Thanks for your help.

Spider - Lynx? Spider - Lynx?

Lynx
I would go with Green Lynx. Perhaps one of the western variations.

Thank you
I'll look at the Lynx sections. I should have thought of that.
I recently id'd and posted a Green Lynx Spider, though much different than this one as it had an elongated abdomen and extremely long legs.
Lynx sounds right for the look of this one's head and legs. I'll go check them out.

Thank you
I found a Green Lynx (Peucetia viridans) that looks very much like this one.

It looks kind of like a lynx spider. I'll be interested to find out what it is!

Aha, I should have looked there. You may very well be on the right sheet. Thank you Matt.
