Adult.
This is an adult female of the "drumming katydid." Can't recall how to spell the scientific name correctly, sorry:-)

More evidence this invasive species is here in NE Pennsylvania, right?
I am about 12 miles south of NY state border.

 
Not a pest yet:-)
I think this is more of a "novelty" species. LOL! I haven't heard of it being a pest anyway. It has also been found in British Columbia, so it is being scattered far and wide.
