Size: inch long maybe
Saw this at Kingsley Plantation. Sipping from Spanish Needle flowers with the Fritillaries. Is it a fly or a weird butterfly? Can someone help identify please? Thank you.

These are great little moths.

Scarlet wasp moth.
Beautiful creatures, i'd love to see one.
