Anastoechus sp.? - Anastoechus

Anastoechus sp.? - Anastoechus
6 miles north of Texhoma, Texas County, Oklahoma, USA
September 27, 2008
In my other Anastoechus images the wings appear slightly smoky while this individual only the anterior area is smoky is it diagnostically significant?
Three spp. have a potentiality to be in our area: A. leucothrix, melanohalteralis, and barbatus.
I have imaged a whitish and a orangish individuals.

Anastoechus
Moved to genus. I don't remember all of the details for separating the species in this genus, but I don't believe wing pattern is useful. It can be tricky to compare under different lighting conditions as well.
