Tibellus sp.? - Tibellus

Tibellus sp.? - Tibellus
Neebish Island, Chippewa County, Michigan, USA
June 27, 2005
This spider was about a meter off the ground in some tall grass, near woods, swamp, and not too far from open water.

I think it might be a Tibellus species (1), but this one does not have the abdominal dots I've seen in other photos of that genus.

I'd go with Tibellus
Checking Kaston (1), he says "Some specimens show two pairs of spots on the abdomen" in describing T. duttoni (this one not likely that species). So maybe that's a variable characteristic in other species as well.
