Banasa dimiata
*

Banasa, yes, but dimiata?
Like calva but unlike dimiata, it has black spots on the side of its abdomen, and dividing line on pronotum has small tooth or notch at mid-point. But the pronotum is half green, unlike calva. That suggests this is one of the other Banasas that do not yet have a page on bugguide.

from Dr. Donald B. Thomas, Jr.:
"Either dimidiata or tumidifrons -- I lean towards the latter."
[So please keep an eye out for them, Andrew, and post more pix -- may turn a new sp. for BG! =v=]
