Identification
C. kansa is characteristically a pale green coloration and distinguished from the similar C. calliope by having only 4 or 5 apical cells in the hind wing; there are typically 6 in C. calliope.
Range
southern Great Plains to c. TX (NM-LA-NE-CO)
