Spider 1 - Araneus trifolium

I found this little spider on the inside of my house door. He wasn't moving very fast so I decided to pick him up in a cup and take him outside for better pictures and to let him go. I have never seen a spider like this before and would love to find out more about it.

Araneus trifolium (Shamrock Orbweaver)
