i only have a wing of the insect. initially i thought it was a buterfly as i found the wing in the pool. however a few days ago i say an insect with the same wings fly by and it had a wider body than any butterfly i had seen. i didn't get a good enough look to be sure of anything else. i am incredibly curious what it was.

oh and i eited the photo a little because the color kept coming out too saturated.

It looks like a hindwing from one of the underwing moths
