Black Fly? - Paradejeania rutilioides

Black Fly? - Paradejeania rutilioides
Yarnell, Arizona, Yavapai County, Arizona, USA
September 27, 2008
Size: 1 1/4 inch long
Found gathering pollen on wildflowers in a semi dry creek bed at 4,850 feet elevation.

a tachinid fly in the genus Paradejeania, but please wait for an expert to confirm. Cool fly!
