Managed some shots of a June beetle that was resting on a daisy.

My son cought two of these in the last week. I hadn't seen one since I was a kid. He was intrigued by the sounds it made.

These are so endearing, making those cute huffing sounds when you hold them:-) This one is a female. Males have enormous expansions of the antennal club.

It'll be a very long time before I hold one of them.
