Heteroceridae - Heterocerus collaris

Heteroceridae - Heterocerus collaris
Medford, (~25 miles east of Philadelphia, PA) Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
June 28, 2008
Size: ~3.6mm
Heteroceridae - much lighter than my post from June 12 of the same size beetle. No visible coxal lines. I don't have a key which considers this family's recent splits, but Neoheterocerus pallidus Say 1823 (Heterocerus) looks possible. Suggestions welcome as always :)

Moved
Moved from Dampfius.

both must be D. collaris Kiesw.

concur
this one looks to be collaris (Miller has this sp. back under Heterocerus - as stated in AmB., and followed by ITIS and Neartica for what it's worth - see family info page for complete current NAm species placement.) Other one I'm less sure of collaris.
