Belostoma washed up by hurricane - Belostoma

Belostoma washed up by hurricane - Belostoma
Lafitte, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, USA
September 25, 2008
Size: 15mm
This was already dead, in a clump of dead leaves (hurricane flood debris) at about eye level. Based on size and the small membrane of the elytra, I think this is Abedus, not sure of the species yet.
